The Town of Windsor Police Department is seeking applicants for a full-time position as a Police Officer. Candidates should be highly motivated self-starters capable of working independently. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of three to five (3-5) years’ law enforcement experience and be a VA DCJS certified law enforcement officer. Starting salary $38,500 to $45,900 annually based on experience and qualifications. The Town of Windsor provides a competitive benefits package, including a take home car program and participates in the VRS retirement system. Part Time Maintenance Worker
Pay rate $10 to $12 per hour-DOQ, year round part time position, working 24 hours per week. High School graduate or equivalent, some experience as a water utility laborer, ability to perform heavy manual labor for short periods and possibly in unfavorable weather conditions, perform a variety of manual tasks of a non-skilled and semi-skilled nature, water meter reading, grass mowing, custodial duties, ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and get along with fellow employees. Must be dependable for regular work attendance. Plumbing experience a plus.
