Message from the Town Manager
As the Town Manager, and on behalf of all of our employees, I welcome you
to the Town of Windsor.
Please visit our offices at the Town Hall at 8 East Windsor Boulevard. Our “welcome
mat” is always out.
Our primary mission is to enhance the value of life in Windsor by working cooperatively with the
community to promote public health, safety, order, and prosperity. We strive
to maintain the highest quality of service to meet the present and future
needs of the community.
The Town of Windsor
operates under the council-manager form of government. The Town Council is
composed of a Mayor and six Council members elected at large on a
non-partisan basis. The Town Council appoints the Town Manager who serves at
the pleasure of Council. The Town’s previous Town Manager, Kurt A.
Falkenstein, retired on June 30, 2008 after serving our community for eleven
years. The Town Council is currently recruiting for Kurt’s replacement.
Again, we welcome you to the Town of Windsor.
John L. Rowe, Jr.
Interim Town Manager
